With previous experience of the reliability Heaford products deliver, based on mounters already installed at their site in Montreal, they naturally turned to Heaford to support them when they opened their new location in Wisconsin. The decision to get a Heaford Semi-Automatic 2CS to for their range of presses, was an easy one and they opted for a fully loaded 2CS.

The 2CS, which has been using linear servo technology since its introduction in 2009, chosen by Balcan was configured with a host of options tailored to their application, including CheckMount which is particularly useful for training of new operators.

Matthew Royle, Heaford Engineer was on site for the installation at their impressive new facility and to support the team at Balcan with training. He was happy to report that not only were the Balcan team pleased with their new mounter, but they were a great team to work with too.
