We all know that the finance team are pivotal to any business and Heaford is no exception.  They of course fulfil all the usual roles you would expect from a finance team including the preparation of financial statements, cash-flow reports, day-to-day record keeping and reporting, VAT returns, payroll, accounts payable and receivable. On top of all these tasks the real value in our Finance Team is that they work with colleagues and partners to ensure the business runs successfully.  They do a great job and we’re very grateful for all they do.

If you haven’t already met the team here’s a brief introduction to them.

Suzanne Faulkner is our Finance Manager; she has been with the company since 2013.  Responsible for the day to day running of a busy finance department, Suzanne’s role includes monitoring all financial matters and performance, liaising with auditors, tax preparation, banking, insurance and HR, whilst always looking for the opportunities to enhance the way we do things. Suzanne enjoys walking, hiking and more recently hot yoga.  

Pat Ross is an Accounts Assistant and has been part of our team since 1996. Pat’s area of expertise is the purchase ledger, this includes matching and processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, supplier payments. Pat also completes the VAT returns, employee expenses and petty cash. Pat is a passionate Manchester United fan and enjoys spending time with her family.

Andrea Irvine is an Accounts Assistant too and started with us back in 1988 as her first job after leaving school. Andrea looks after the sales ledger, preparing customer invoices, posting and allocating receipts. She’s also responsible for credit control, payroll and multicurrency cashbooks. Away from the office Andrea is often busy with her young grandson or off on holiday to the sun.
