In 2022, Finotex made their first investment in Heaford technology by purchasing an FTS 900 flexographic plate mounter for their Honduras site. This semi-automatic plate mounter is designed for fast, repeatable, and highly accurate plate positioning, ensuring excellent print quality with minimal waste.

After installation, Finotex quickly reported improvements in setup times, greater mounting consistency, and enhanced print quality, contributing to greater production efficiency and reduced downtime.

Building on the success of the FTS 900, Finotex reaffirmed their confidence in Heaford at the 2024 Labelexpo Americas exhibition when they invested in two additional machines — this time selecting the FTS 500 model to meet the growing demands of their facilities in Honduras and Nicaragua.

These new installations give Finotex the ability to maintain consistent quality across multiple sites, while reducing setup times and improving overall production throughput. The reliability and intuitive operation of the FTS 500 mean that both experienced and new operators can achieve high-quality results with minimal training — a critical benefit for multi-site operations.
