Grafisk Maskinfabrik, more commonly know as GM, is a Danish engineering and manufacturing company based in North Sealand, Denmark. A family business like Heaford, they have been in business for over four decades and having sold more than 6,000 machines, are a global player in the labelling market, providing advanced solutions for the self-adhesive label converting, finishing and flexible packaging industry.

This second-generation family business continues to expand and is a truly innovative company with a wealth of industry experience. It’s important for Heaford to work collaboratively with progressive OEMs like GM to ensure our products continue to be aligned with the advanced features on the latest generations of printing presses.

Digital integration and ‘hybrid’ presses benefiting from the inherent advantages of each different printing process (digital, flexo, screen, litho etc.) are increasing and a key development area for GM Converting.

In 2020, GM moved to their new 9,000 sq. m factory and Heaford were delighted to be selected to support them with the launch of their Birkerød Demo Centre earlier this year and we are pleased to report that the mounter we supplied is now set up and ensuring in-register print trials.
